What is GITT?
Give it to Them - the Safety Course for Women!
Give it to Them or (GITT) is a course designed to help women protect themselves from violent and abusive situations. The uniqueness of the course is in its simplicity. GITT is a course that anybody can do regardless of age and fitness level. GITT uses advanced knowledge of brain functioning to counter the rush of adrenaline and cortisone when you are attacked and enable clear motor functioning.
GITT uses the concept of self talk to switch the brain into superior states of alertness and fluidity. The core practice of GITT is a set of exercises and disciplines that one has to undertake for 21 days. This is a powerful way to change old unsafe habits and disempowering thought patterns. The whole system can be learnt in 3 hours.
GITT uses technology for the purpose of motivation and reprogramming of the brain. A simple few paragraphs of self talk are available as a pdf and a sound file. You can download this and listen to it for a week to see the changes in your alertness. For registered students we have special downloads that help them learn the art of shadow boxing which is perhaps the most intense cardio workout burning upto 600 calories in 20 minutes.(coming soon)
We also have email reminders that remind you to listen to the self talk file for 21 days. Once the motivation arrives the self confidence follows and so does a strong an supple body.
Students have achieved exceptional results in violent and abusive situations without lifting a finger. Read about it in the case studies section
GITT recognizes the fact that men are on an average 2.4 times stronger and 1.9 times faster and more reflexive than women. So we do not recommend that you slug it out with a man if you are a woman.
On the other hand women are studied to have more brain capacity. Studies have shown that 4 times more brain area was found to be active in women when compared to men on an average. At GITT we train you to use your superior brain capacity to your advantage.
We are proud to say that GITT has been endorsed by the city police and will be offered at Koramangala Police Station in Bangalore free of cost to the general public. This is made possible by UNICEF and the Koramangala Resident’s Association.
The story of GITT has been featured in national and international media and there are GITT study groups in Sri Lanka, Italy, Canada and USA. GITT was founded by Ashwin Mohan read about him here
